Mayday 2008: Iron Man, Center for Creative Connections, and immigration demonstrations

Work In Progress

It's a busy day in the Pegasus Newsroom, Laura S. is previewing the grand opening of the Dallas Museum of Art Center for Creative Connections. She will return to the arts district this afternoon, where immigration reform advocates will be gathering at Dallas' Catholic Catedral Santuario de Guadalupe for a peaceful demonstration at 4pm, culminating with a rally at Dallas City Hall this evening at 5:30.

Minnie is working to contact Irving's mayoral candidate Rigoberto V. Reza in advance of the May 10 election. She's also reporting on the evolution of TWU's P.E. department of yesteryear to the kinesiology department it is today.

Teresa is wrapping up Best Bites, while Erin prepares to capture video at Mayfest, which starts tonight.

Meanwhile John Meyer is polishing off his review of the surprisingly strong Iron Man opening tomorrow.
