The release party for Randy McAllister's latest album, a compilation CD named Flying High While Staying Low Down, was held last night at Pearl in Dallas. This "best-of" compilation is McAllister's seventh album, following his 2002 Grammy nominated effort, Givers and Takers. Flying High features five previously unreleased tracks from his upcoming album, Dope Slap Soup, and 11 other well known tracks from Temporary Fixes and A Little Left of Center.
