Ban lifted on sale of fireworks

With New Year's approaching, fireworks store owners are content after Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, and Rockwall Counties all lifted a ban on fireworks sales over the past year. The ban had come as a result of a dry drought that North Texas counties believe increased the risk of major fires. Fireworks stores are happy to have the ban lifted because they make the vast majority of their money on sales surrounding New Year's and the 4th of July.

Remember that it's still illegal to shoot these off in the city limits of most, if not all local cities.

Especially if you live across the back alley from my house. Just saying...
